Mainsail Realty Company specializes in residential real estate in Destin, Sandestin, Santa Rosa Beach and Hwy 30A. The firm was founded in 1981 by Dewitt "Sparky" Lovelace.  Clayton Bonjean joined Mainsail Realty in 1998 as an agent and became the Broker/President in 2008.  

Clayton received a degree in Marketing from the University of Mississippi "Ole Miss" and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  After schooling, he worked as an Account Executive, Director of Sales, and Operations Manager for Checkcare Systems in Birmingham, Alabama.   In 1997, Clayton moved to Destin Florida to manage Lovelace Interiors.  In 1998 he received his real estate license and has been involved in many successful Real Estate transactions. Clayton has consistently remained in the top 2% of all agents in Okaloosa and Walton Counties and in 2011 Clayton closed over fifteen million in Real Estate. 

Clayton is the broker/owner, but unlike most, he likes to get out into the field and work with buyers and sellers.  Clayton loves the Real Estate business and is not afraid to work very hard for his clients.   Clayton also enjoys playing lead guitar with local band Cadillac Willy; you can catch him performing at Harbor Docks, The Red Bar, Hogs Breath, and the Funky Blues Shack.  You will also find him strumming his guitar every Sunday at Good News Methodist Church in Santa Rosa Beach.

Katie Bonjean is the Marketing Consultant for Mainsail Realty Company. Katie moved to the area and initially worked as the morning news anchor for the Panama City NBC affiliate "News Channel 7".  Katie then went on to work for many years as a new development marketing manager for Intrawest (the former Sandestin owner).  Katie started the marketing program at Wild Heron and later was promoted to Real Estate Marketing Manager for The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.  Her training and experience in the local market is unsurpassed.
